About the Comics
Hailing from North Carolina, Anthony D. Oakes is a District of Columbia resident who is taking the comedy scene by storm. A natural comedian, featured in Washington Blade, Anthony has hit the ground running. His clean, yet edgy, Southern, intellectual, witty humor will have you reeling with laughter.

Peter Sullivan is a comedian and writer who got his start at 17 years old in Washington, D.C. Since then, his playful social commentary and dry delivery have allowed him to perform at comedy clubs across the country including the DC Improv and Laugh Factory. He has written professionally for national touring headliners and for Just for Laughs Comedy Festival in Montreal and has opened for legendary comics like Rory Scovel, Roy Wood Jr. and others.

From Richmond, Va., Patrice DeVeaux has been traveling doing standup all over the country, opening for Orlando Jones, Chaunté Wayans, Tony Woods, and the legendary Adele Givens. Patrice is a writer, producer, and creative curator. She has appeared on several television shows, including "News One Now With Roland Martin," "Kill Tony," and "Revolt TV." She has also been featured on Kenan Thompson’s Ultimate Comedy Experience. Patrice has performed at the legendary Apollo Theater in NYC & internationally in the Netherlands. Patrice won Comedy Kumite 42 (winter 2024) at the DC Improv.

Adam Freesman is a comic out of Baltimore. He has opened for nationally touring acts in clubs and theaters around the U.S. such as Modi Rosenfeld, Geoffrey Asmus and Jourdain Fisher, to name a few. Adam has also featured in the Cleveland Comedy Festival and one police report due to a typo.

Bobbie Ray is a stand-up comedian known for his sharp observational humor and laid-back, conversational style. He’s opened for national headliners including Robert Kelly, Ian Fidance, Katie Boyle, and other touring headliners. His material blends real-life experiences with offbeat perspective, connecting with audiences through authenticity and punchy storytelling.
