Spotlight: Enjoy great stand-up comedy in downtown DC. Our showcase lineups feature top talent from DC, Maryland, Virginia and beyond, performing on one of the country's most famous stages. You'll see a variety of styles and get up close with some of the stars of tomorrow. Support local talent, support local business and (most important) laugh your a** off. Showcases generally last around 90 minutes.

About the Comics

Tommy Taylor Jr.

Tommy Taylor Jr. is a uniquely talented comedian with a diverse artistic repertoire. Along with being a cast member in HBO’s “The Wire" for three seasons, Tommy recently reprised his role on the Emmy winning HBO series “VEEP" for his third season there as well. His original sketch comedy program “The Tommy Taylor Show" brings Tommy’s brand of “GOOD. CLEAN. COMEDY." to television and the Internet. It has received millions of views online, been aired nationally, and won several local and national awards.

Eddy Antonio

Eddy Antonio is a stand up comedian from Northern Virginia. His constant joke telling has always been his biggest weakness in school or at work, but now it allows him to thrive on stage.

D Lo

Dana Lollar, aka D. Lo, hails from Baltimore MD. Always a jokester, DLo stumbled into the comedy world, in Nov 2015, after a leg injury had her out of work. After countless open mics, she began to rise in the Baltimore comedy scene as a force to be reckoned with. Known for her quick wit and comebacks, she is definitely a spitfire on the mic. In her short comedy career she has won more than 15 competitions, been a finalist in Magoobys New Comedian of the Year Competition, headlined various shows in Baltimore, DC, Delaware, Ohio, NYC, Las Vegas, and Jamaica. She is the unanimous winner of Comedy Wars DMV and has been a finalist in Kevin Hart's "Hart of the City" on Comedy Central. Most recently she was a feature act in the 2019 Black Girl Giggles Festival, 2019 Baltimore Comedy Festival and the 2019 DC Comedy Festival. Known as the "roast queen" of Baltimore, and a improv master, she's sure to leave a lasting impression. D. Lo won Comedy Kumite 35.2 (fall 2022) at the DC Improv and was a finalist at the 2024 Comedy Kumite XL.

Dewayne White

Dewayne White is quickly becoming one of the most sought-after comics on the scene. Hailing from Washington, D.C., his no-nonsense, East Coast demeanor seamlessly transforms into hilarity on stage. He draws on his experiences as a combat wounded Army vet, husband and father with a no holds barred attitude. With irreverent observations and an infectious energy, Dewayne always delivers an unforgettable evening of laughter. He’s shared the stage with comedy heavyweights like Josh Blue, Mark Normand, Sal Vulcano, and Jo Firestone Dewayne has performed at amazing clubs like Comedy and Magic Club, The Laugh Factory, The Funnybone, and Carolines on Broadway and regularly tours internationally with Armed Forces Entertainment.  His debut comedy special, "A Boy Named Shannon" is out now on Apple TV, Amazon Prime, Spotify, and more! Dewayne won Comedy Kumite 45 (spring 2025) at the DC Improv.

Jill Weiner

Born in Atlanta, GA, matured in San Francisco, and now residing in New York City, Jill Weiner is a comedian and writer. Jill recently recorded her Dry Bar Comedy Special “Soup Freak”, and her jokes have appeared on America's Got Talent. She was a finalist in Houston's Riot Comedy Festival and has participated in the New York Comedy Festival, placed second in the Trial by Laughter Comedy Festival, and performed at the Boston Comedy Festival. When not on stage you can catch Jill slurping soup at one of New York’s hottest diners.
