Spotlight: Enjoy great stand-up comedy in downtown DC. Our showcase lineups feature top talent from DC, Maryland, Virginia and beyond, performing on one of the country's most famous stages. You'll see a variety of styles and get up close with some of the stars of tomorrow. Support local talent, support local business and (most important) laugh your a** off. Showcases generally last around 90 minutes.

About the Comics
Matilda Epstein is a standup comedian and writer based in Washington, D.C. She has featured for touring comics including Matthew Broussard, Emil Wakim, and Maddie Wiener. Matilda’s writing has been featured in Little Old Lady Comedy, McSweeney’s Internet Tendency, and Belladonna Comedy.

Randy Syphax is a stand-up comedian who has appeared on The Tonight Show, been featured in The New York Times, and showcased in the Just For Laughs Comedy Festival. Named one of Comedy Central’s Comics to Watch. His work has been featured on NBC, MTV, OVERTIME, and STARZ.

Liz Barlow is a standup comic, writer and actor from Virginia Beach. She has been seen on TVOne, Virginia area Funny Bones, Dc Improv, Zanies in Nashville and the Charlotte Comedy Zone. She's also a published essayist , having been published in the Huffington Post and Wearyourvoicemag.com. Liz won Comedy Kumite 29 (online, winter 2021), Comedy Kumite 41 (fall 2023) and Comedy Kumite 43 (Mother's Day 2024) at the DC Improv, as well as the October 2024 Kumite Tournament of Champions.

John Grimes is a Los Angeles-based comedian from St. Louis, Mo. His standup has generated millions of views online, but it's even better in person. A regular performer at legendary Laugh Factory in Hollywood, John also plays the hottest clubs in LA: The Comedy Store and the historic Hollywood Improv. He's been featured on AllDef Comedy, Chocolate Sundaes Comedy, AppleTV, Fox, Tubi, and currently tours with Tony Rock. His raw, yet charming style of comedy keeps people laughing all night.
