Spotlight: Enjoy great stand-up comedy in downtown DC. Our showcase lineups feature top talent from DC, Maryland, Virginia and beyond, performing on one of the country's most famous stages. You'll see a variety of styles and get up close with some of the stars of tomorrow. Support local talent, support local business and (most important) laugh your a** off. Showcases generally last around 90 minutes.

About the Comics

Nikki Knowles

Nikkie Knowles, a DMV based comic, is making waves in the comedy industry. Her humor is inspired by her unique experiences as a mother of five boys and a military wife. She began her comedy journey by participating in the Armed Services Arts Partnership's Comedy Bootcamp, a program that provides veterans and their families an opportunity to learn the art of standup comedy. Nikkie has graced the stage at various festivals and clubs across the eastern coast, including the Kennedy Center and Black Women in Comedy Laff Fest. Her win as Magooby's Comedian of the Year 2021 marked a historic moment as she became the first woman to achieve this feat.

Tim Smith is a comedian based in NYC. A known goofball hailing from Chicago/Louisiana, Tim was recently featured at the New York Comedy Festival and has opened for legends such as Roy Wood Jr, Kyle Kinane, Jim Norton and Ms. Pat. He’s the cohost of the Roommates in Law podcast and he’s been with the same woman for over 12 years, so ladies don’t even try it.

RayDiva

RayDiva started her comedy career at the famous Gotham Comedy Club in New York City and has been moving up ever since. She has appeared at the Baltimore Comedy Factory, The Funny Bone Comedy Club in Virginia, Uptown Comedy Club in Atlanta, Magoobys Comedy Club in Maryland, The Laff House Comedy Club in Philadelphia and Jokes and Notes in Chicago. She hosts her own Comedy Show in Baltimore and is also one of the host of Laffs On The Harbor.

Martin Phillips

Martin Phillips started to perform in college when he won funniest student in DC and hasn't stopped since. He has performed at several festivals like the Cleveland Comedy Festival and the LA Diversity in Comedy festival, has made several appearances on the Kill Tony podcast, and has even performed in Alaska! Martin has two podcasts, The Martin Podcast and one where he discusses rom-coms, Isn't It Romantic? Martin performs wherever he can, be sure to see him!

Jenny Cavallero

Jenny Cavallero is a disabled comedian and writer from DC. She co-hosts the world's best and only Jennifer-based podcast, "Too Many Jennifers," and is a contributing writer for the disability-humor site "The Squeaky Wheel."
