Spotlight: Enjoy great stand-up comedy in downtown DC. Our showcase lineups feature top talent from DC, Maryland, Virginia and beyond, performing on one of the country's most famous stages. You'll see a variety of styles and get up close with some of the stars of tomorrow. Support local talent, support local business and (most important) laugh your a** off. Showcases generally last around 90 minutes.

About the Comics
Caitlin McDevitt is a co-producer of The Living Room Show DC, a 15 time sold out show that has been featured in the DCist and the Washington Post. She was the runner up for Magoobys 2019 comedian of the year. Caitlin has opened for Andy Harris, Chris Fairbanks, and Brian Scott McFadden. Recently seen at Treefort Comedy festival in Idaho in her hometown of Boise, she is most praised for her quick wit and ability to show up on time.

Erik Scott grew up in a cornfield in Central Illinois and now resides in New York City, he’s still getting used to how tall the buildings are. Erik has been featured on Comedy Central, the hit radio show Bob and Tom, opened for Headliners such as Mark Normand, and was the winner of Comcast’s Trial by Laughter. His quick wit and “Midwest Charm” has garnered him millions of views online and make him an audience favorite.

Matty Litwack is a weird young stand up comedian and writer. He was once a physics PhD student, but dropped out when he realized it was super boring. Matty’s writing has been published in the Washington Post, New Zealand Herald, and Scientific American. He has also performed at many comedy festivals, such as the Limestone Festival, Laughing Skull Festival, Bentzen Ball, and San Francisco Sketchfest. In 2014, Matty was a finalist in the Boston Comedy Festival and was the winner of the Devil Cup in New York City. Matty has also appeared on Fox’s “Laughs" and on National Geographic Channel’s “Crowd Control." Matty won Comedy Kumite 4.1 (winter 2016) at the DC Improv.

Charles Engle's comedy blends personal vulnerability with the absurdity of everyday life. He has been featured in the NY Comedy Festival, Big Pine Comedy Festival, Seattle International Comedy Festival, and Tours for the Troops. He tours regularly with comedians such as Preacher Lawson, Jessie Johnson and Shapel Lacey.
