Spotlight: Enjoy great stand-up comedy in downtown DC. Our showcase lineups feature top talent from DC, Maryland, Virginia and beyond, performing on one of the country's most famous stages. You'll see a variety of styles and get up close with some of the stars of tomorrow. Support local talent, support local business and (most important) laugh your a** off. Showcases generally last around 90 minutes.

Amber Hendrix

Amber Hendrix is a Richmond, Virginia-based comedian and producer. A contributor for Reductress and The Hard Times, Amber has opened for Dave Attell, Emily Catalano, and Geoffrey Asmus, among others.

Blake Freeman

Blake Freeman is an Australian comedian known for his sharp observations, relaxed delivery, and punchy storytelling. A breakout talent on the live circuit, Blake won Best Newcomer at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival, quickly establishing himself as one of the country’s most exciting emerging voices. He was later selected for Just For Laughs: New Faces International, showcasing his comedy to global industry audiences. Now based in New York City, Blake continues to build his international profile, performing regularly on the US stand-up scene. He has toured nationally and opened for Nate Bargatze on his Australian tour, playing to packed theatres across the country. Blending everyday relatability with clever twists, Blake Freeman is a confident, polished performer whose comedy connects effortlessly with audiences wherever he performs.

Matty Litwack

Matty Litwack is a weird young stand up comedian and writer. He was once a physics PhD student, but dropped out when he realized it was super boring. Matty’s writing has been published in the Washington Post, New Zealand Herald, and Scientific American. He has also performed at many comedy festivals, such as the Limestone Festival, Laughing Skull Festival, Bentzen Ball, and San Francisco Sketchfest. In 2014, Matty was a finalist in the Boston Comedy Festival and was the winner of the Devil Cup in New York City. Matty has also appeared on Fox’s “Laughs" and on National Geographic Channel’s “Crowd Control." Matty won Comedy Kumite 4.1 (winter 2016) at the DC Improv.

Chris Alan

Chris Alan is a stand up comedian and writer. Chris' conversational yet laid back style coupled with his quick wit keeps audiences on their toes. He's performed at Rogue Island Comedy festival, DC Underground Festival, among others. He's appeared on Laughs on Fox. He hosts a weekly podcast called Negro Please Radio. He's currently touring clubs and venues across the country.
