You'll see a variety of styles and get up close with some of the stars of tomorrow. Support local talent, support local business and (most important) laugh your a** off. Showcases generally last around 90 minutes.

About the Comics
Bobbie Ray is a stand up comedian based in Maryland. Since his comedy debut he has worked along side some hilarious comedians such as Ron Funches, Ian Lara, Natalie Cuomo and others. Bobbie Ray takes the audience on a journey full of comical observations and absurd tales from his life with a conversational tone that people love.

Denise Taylor knew she wanted to be a comedian ever since her fourth grade teacher called her a "ringleader" for distracting the class with jokes. At 26, Denise's sharp material and commanding stage presence has led her to open for several national touring headliners, including Judah Friedlander, Chris Gethard, Kamau Bell, Moshe Kasher, and many more. Denise is currently a contributor for The Onion. She also appears frequently on two of DC's most popular comedy shows: Fale University and The Time Machine Roast. Winston Hodges is from DC by way of Richmond, Virginia. He has worked comedy clubs up and down the east coast and is known for his southern charm and edgy wit. He has been featured on Don't Tell Comedy, and his award winning special Grieving Productively is available on YouTube. His videos online have been viewed over 20 million times and he has opened for Fortune Feimster, Demetri Martin, and Dave Attell to name a few. Winston won the "Cottage Kumite" (Kumite 36, fall 2022) at President Lincoln's Cottage.

No stranger to the stage, Ashley Mayo studied at the Studio Theatre acting conservatory and began her career in comedy shortly after graduating college. Her unique material, delivery, energetic stage presence and charisma have won over audiences throughout the DMV.

Pearl Rose is a stand-up comedian, writer and performer originally from Minnesota. She has performed up and down the East Coast at venues such as the DC Improv and the Kennedy Center and has opened for Kelsey Cook, Jon Dore and Phil Hanley. She has been included in DC’s District of Laughs Festival and Limestone Comedy Festival, and was featured as “Best of the Fest” at 10K Laughs in 2023. Pearl has been featured in the Washington Post’s The Lily and was named one of Racket MN’s “Comics to Watch 2023”.
