Spotlight: Enjoy great stand-up comedy in downtown DC. Our showcase lineups feature top talent from DC, Maryland, Virginia and beyond, performing on one of the country's most famous stages. You'll see a variety of styles and get up close with some of the stars of tomorrow. Support local talent, support local business and (most important) laugh your a** off. Showcases generally last around 90 minutes.

About the Comics
Eric Barbalace is a stand up comic from Washington DC. Much of his material touches on his unique perspective of coming out as a gay man later in life. Eric has hosted and performed at notable venues across the DMV area. Eric has opened for national headliners such as Matt Rife, Martin Amini, Matthew Broussard, Geoffrey Asmus, and Carmen Lynch.

Kadeem Richardson is a professional comedian, writer, and scientist! His witty, energetic, and thought-provoking comedy blends smart humor with cultural roots. In his comedy, he mixes humor into stories of surviving America as a Black man through many phases of his life, including graduate school, marriage, and fatherhood. Kadeem is a traveling comedian that has performed in Chicago, Atlanta, Baltimore, DC, Virginia, Pennsylvania, Miami, and New York. Kadeem has hosted and featured world-famous comedians such as Jamali Maddix, Teddy Carpenter, The Christi Show, Geoffrey Asmus, Jay Phillips, Erik Escobar, Reena Calm, and many more. Ross Benoit is a Massachusetts native who moved to Northern Virginia at age 6. Eighteen years later, he started doing stand-up comedy. You can see him hosting shows and performing at venues all around the DMV. Ross won Comedy Kumite 8.2 (winter 2017) at the DC Improv, as well as Kumite 21.2 (summer 2019).

Pearl Rose is a stand-up comedian, writer and performer originally from Minnesota. She has performed up and down the East Coast at venues such as the DC Improv and the Kennedy Center and has opened for Kelsey Cook, Jon Dore and Phil Hanley. She has been included in DC’s District of Laughs Festival and Limestone Comedy Festival, and was featured as “Best of the Fest” at 10K Laughs in 2023. Pearl has been featured in the Washington Post’s The Lily and was named one of Racket MN’s “Comics to Watch 2023”.
