Spotlight: Enjoy great stand-up comedy in downtown DC! This showcase features stand-up talents who are newer to the DC Improv stage -- a wave of comics ready to show us (and you!) what they can do. You'll see a variety of styles and get up close with some of the stars of tomorrow. Support local talent, support local business and (most important) laugh your a** off. Showcases generally last around 90 minutes.

About the Comics
Kadeem Richardson is a professional comedian, writer, and scientist! His witty, energetic, and thought-provoking comedy blends smart humor with cultural roots. In his comedy, he mixes humor into stories of surviving America as a Black man through many phases of his life, including graduate school, marriage, and fatherhood. Kadeem is a traveling comedian that has performed in Chicago, Atlanta, Baltimore, DC, Virginia, Pennsylvania, Miami, and New York. Kadeem has hosted and featured world-famous comedians such as Jamali Maddix, Teddy Carpenter, The Christi Show, Geoffrey Asmus, Jay Phillips, Erik Escobar, Reena Calm, and many more.
