Open Mic Night

The Improv is proud to host open mic nights featuring local comedy talent in our main showroom. This is a preorganized showcase style show and advanced booking is required.  • Web submissions only.

• At least one year actively performing on open mics/shows.

• Performance video in front of a live audience recorded within three months of submission.

• Performance video that is no more than 10 minutes.

• Please refrain from submitting your video multiple times per week.

• Include a short biography as well as a resume of your comedy work.

We appreciate every submission, but due to volume, we cannot respond to every inquiry. You will be contacted ONLY if you are accepted to perform at an upcoming open mic night.

General performance information

You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. Please understand that the DC Improv receives hundreds of submissions, and it is not possible for us to respond to all of them. You will be contacted ONLY if you are selected to perform on a showcase or as an opening act. DO NOT send any follow-up emails after you submit a web link. And again, NO PHONE CALLS.
