Spotlight: Spring has sprung, the grass is riz, we know where the good times is! Celebrate the change of season at DC's top comedy spot, laughing along with five outstanding stand-up comedians. The Spring Fever Showcase features a great mix of styles that is sure to bring smiles into bloom. The showcase performance will last around 90 minutes.

Jenny Questell

Jenny Questell is a comedian based in Washington, D.C. She hosts the "Isn't It Romantic" podcast with Martin Phillips.

Anthony Oakes

Hailing from North Carolina, Anthony D. Oakes is a District of Columbia resident who is taking the comedy scene by storm. A natural comedian, featured in Washington Blade, Anthony has hit the ground running. His clean, yet edgy, Southern, intellectual, witty humor will have you reeling with laughter.

Patrice DeVeaux

From Richmond, Va., Patrice DeVeaux has been traveling doing standup all over the country, opening for Orlando Jones, Chaunté Wayans, Tony Woods, and the legendary Adele Givens. Patrice is a writer, producer, and creative curator. She has appeared on several television shows, including "News One Now With Roland Martin," "Kill Tony," and "Revolt TV." She has also been featured on Kenan Thompson’s Ultimate Comedy Experience. Patrice has performed at the legendary Apollo Theater in NYC & internationally in the Netherlands. Patrice won Comedy Kumite 42 (winter 2024) at the DC Improv.

Eddie Morrison

Eddie Morrison is a D.C. native who has performed standup comedy all over the metro area. His appearances include the DC Improv, the Kennedy Center, the Comedy Store, and Magooby’s Jokehouse, where he was named runner-up at the 2015 New Comedian of the Year Competition. Eddie won Comedy Kumite 15.2 (spring 2018) at the DC Improv, as well as Kumite 30 (spring 2021).

Napoleon Emill

Napoleon Emill is a Brooklyn-based comic originally from North Carolina. He was the 2018 March Madness comedy competition winner, and was named a 2019 New Face at the Just for Laughs festival. Napoleon can be seen regularly at comedy clubs throughout New York City. You can also catch Napoleon on the Showtime series "Flatbush Misdemeanors," and he will be seen on HBO Max's season 2 of "That Damn Michael Che."
