A comedy pioneer, Nemr became an international star by bringing stand-up to the Middle East. The Lebanese-American has performed to packed theaters in numerous countries and recorded a bunch of specials -- the latest of which, "No Bombing in Beirut," debuted on Showtime in 2017. Now he's touring America in 2018 with his new show ... and the DC Improv is thrilled to have him back.

Nemr is a Lebanese/American Stand-Up Comedian who is credited with establishing and pioneering the stand-up comedy scene throughout the Middle East, where he performs in English. Nemr grew up in San Diego and then moved back with his family to Lebanon. He went on to break down barriers and unite people in a region where bombing on stage can have a completely different meaning.

Nemr just released a one-hour comedy special, ͚"No Bombing in Beirut," on Showtime. It was filmed in both Lebanon and America during his 2016 world tour to demonstrate how similar people from opposite sides of the world really are.

Nemr has also been seen on CNN and recently appeared on "The Nightly Show with Larry Wilmore." In May of 2014 he was featured on the cover of Rolling Stone magazine (Middle East) solidifying Nemr’s legacy as the biggest name in stand up in the region.

Following his global breakout success, don’t miss Nemr’s brand new stand up comedy global event, "Love Isn't the Answer."
