January 25lounge

Two DC Improv favorites are co-headlining our lounge on a Friday. Ryan Conner was a finalist on the most recent edition of "Last Comic Standing," and Andy Hendrickson has made the circuit of the late-night talk shows. Both guys grew up in the DMV and started their comedy careers here -- and we're happy to have them stopping in during their latest trip to the East Coast.

Originally from DC, Ryan Conner was a finalist on the most recent season of NBC's Last Comic Standing, where judge Norm MacDonald called his first set "The best 3.5 minutes I've seen in five years." In addition to touring the country doing stand-up, Ryan is also a writer/producer for MTV's Ridiculousness, and was a contributing writer for two seasons of TruTV's "Billy On The Street." You can hear his album "Live From An Old Prison" anywhere albums can be heard.

Andy Hendrickson (a DC Metro Native) is a comedian, writer and actor that built his career in New York City. He now resides in Los Angeles. He’s had multiple TV appearances including: The Late Show with David Letterman, The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson, Gotham Comedy Live, NBC’s The Guest List and more. Internationally, Andy has performed at clubs and festivals throughout the world, including Canada, England, Holland and Ireland. He has a clever, conversational style that has been engaging audiences for over 15 years. His material is based on real life experiences and his anecdotes are laced with a hearty disapproval. One reviewer said it best, “He’s the exasperated guy next door.”
