Great local comics in our 60-seat showroom. Host Chris Milner is joined by Rahmein Mostafavi, Wendy Wroblewski, Dee Ahmed and Stavros Halkias.

SPOTLIGHT

DMV showcases feature excellent up-and-coming performers with ties to the DC-Baltimore area. (Every now and then we also throw in an out-of-towner for fun.) This show is in our 60-seat lounge showroom, and the comedians will perform for a total of around 90 minutes. The Improv's full food and drink menu is available.

Chris Milner 

Chris Milner

British born, DC based "The Englishman" Chris Milner has been performing standup comedy in and around the District, as well as festivals all over the US since 2011. He is also the host of popular comedy trivia panel show Specific Ignorance.

 
Wendy Wroblewski 

Wendy Wroblewski

Wendy is a math tutor and office temp from Gaithersburg, Maryland. She performs comedy all over the Washington DC metro area. She was recently a guest on the Betches of Comedy show in Washington DC, opening for Liza Treyger.

 
Rahmein Mostafavi 

Rahmein Mostafavi

Addressing heavy social and political topics with brilliant satire along with hilarious observational comedy about life as an ethnic mutt and father of three, Rahmein Mostafavi wins over every crowd with charm, comic timing, and charisma. He has been featured at some of the biggest comedy festivals in the nation, including Laugh Your Asheville Off , The Cleveland Comedy Festival, and the Cape May Comedy Festival. Rahmein has been seen on FOX, heard regularly on Sirius XM, and was featured in “The Truth About Money” on PBS.

 
Dee Ahmed 

Dee Ahmed

Dee Ahmed, a DC native, is a goofball. He comes from a family of 10, which molded his unique comedic voice and love of attention. He has been selected to perform in The 202 Comedy Festival, Charm City Festival, Pittsburgh Comedy Festival, Cinderblock Festival, and What a Joke: A National Comedy Festival. He has been touring with HOT 99.5 for Intern John's Peer Pressure Comedy Show.

 
Stavros Halkias 

Stavros Halkias

Stavros Halkias is a New York City based comedian. After dabbling with comedy in college, he started performing regularly in his hometown of Baltimore, Maryland where he was named New Comedian of the Year in 2012. Since then he’s toured clubs, colleges and independent shows across the U.S., been featured on XM Satellite radio and become a regular on Robert Kelly’s You Know What Dude podcast. Here’s a list of some the great comedians he’s had the opportunity to work with: Tom Papa, Dave Attell, and Tig Notaro. Here’s a list of people that don’t approve of his comedy career: Emmanuel Halkias, his father.
