SPOTLIGHT

DMV showcases feature excellent up-and-coming performers with ties to the DC-Baltimore area. (Every now and then we also throw in an out-of-towner for fun.) This show is in our 60-seat lounge showroom, and the comedians will perform for a total of around 90 minutes. The Improv's full food and drink menu is available.

YOUR PERFORMERS

Matty Litwack

Matty Litwack is a weird young stand up comedian and writer. He was once a physics PhD student, but dropped out when he realized it was super boring. Matty’s writing has been published in the Washington Post, New Zealand Herald, and Scientific American. He has also performed at many comedy festivals, such as the Limestone Festival, Laughing Skull Festival, Bentzen Ball, and San Francisco Sketchfest. In 2014, Matty was a finalist in the Boston Comedy Festival and was the winner of the Devil Cup in New York City. Matty has also appeared on Fox’s “Laughs” and on National Geographic Channel’s “Crowd Control”. See a clip on YouTube.

Pearl Rose

Pearl Rose is a Washington, DC-based comedian. Originally from Minnesota, Pearl is a regular host at DC comedy clubs, opening for national headliners such as Joe List, Carmen Lynch, and Jon Dore. Pearl has also performed at several comedy festivals.

Natalie McGill

Natalie McGill is a Baltimore-born but DC-living comic who has performed in the Bentzen Ball Comedy Festival and has opened for acts such as Al Madrigal and Rob Cantrell. She works as a correspondent on RT America’s “Redacted Tonight.” You can follow her on Twitter at @littlenightowl.

Chris Alan

Chris Alan began his comedy career in 2008 in Las Vegas. He moved to Dayton, OH in 2010 and quickly became a local favorite working the clubs. In 2012 he won Dayton's funniest comic and in 2014 he made his television debut Laughs on Fox.

Katherine Jessup

Katherine Jessup hopes you like her comedy, but it's cool if you don't. (You probably will though.) Commanding stages with the winsome charm of your slightly too honest best friend, her comedy's been described as sublime, profoundly relatable, and also available for birthday parties. She performs around the country and hosts a dope podcast (Advice! with Dave & Kat).
