YOUR PERFORMERS

Nathan Luft

Nathan Luft has performed at bars and basements both full and empty all across the DMV. If you like any of his jokes feel free to tell them to your friends and pretend they’re your own -- but Venmo donations are appreciated. Stand up grad school isn’t cheap! He is honored to be performing at the Improv and dreams of the day you see him on the street and say “aren’t you that one guy from that one thing?”

Theresa Concepcion

Theresa Concepcion is a lawyer by day, comic at night and has performed in venues all across the DMV. She has also appeared on Roland Martin’s TVOne News Now. Originally from New Jersey by way of Puerto Rico, her comedy focuses on her family life and experiences as a single professional in the city.

Rojo Perez

Rojo Perez is a New York based comedian. He grew up in Puerto Rico, which helped him form the humor you see in him today. After moving to Florida for college, he began doing stand up at the age of 20 in local clubs and small café’s in Central Florida. Since moving to the Northeast, Rojo has become a regular in the NY comedy scene and can usually be seen performing at The Creek and The Cave. He has also performed at Caroline’s, The Comedy Studio, The Improv, UCB and many other clubs around the US. He has been featured multiple times at New York Comedy Festival, Bridgetown Comedy Festival, LA Riot Comedy Festival & the Akumal Comedy Festival in Mexico. Rojo has also appeared in TimeOut NY and on MTV Tr3s ESL sketch show. His future plans include one day earning enough money that relatives will ask to borrow and continuing to spread laughter regardless of race, religion and gender.

Kasha Patel

Kasha Patel fills the unknown demand of Indian female comics from West Virginia. Based in Washington, DC, she loves telling jokes about her odd upbringing and science. She hosts and produces Science Comedy shows, where only science jokes and stories are allowed, in the DC area. Some describe her stand-up as "thoughtful" while others keep their unsolicited opinions to themselves. She has performed in clubs, comedy festivals, and Chinese restaurants in cities nationwide including Chicago, Boston, San Francisco and New York City. Follow her on Twitter @KashaPatel. See a clip on YouTube.

Reese Waters

Reese Waters comes from an illustrious career in comedy, sports and commentary. Reese was born in Prince George’s county and went to college at Columbia University, where his comedy career took off performing in New York City clubs. His comedy led him to appear on MTV, Good Morning America, The Early Show, NPR and more. In 2010, he became a co-host of The Daily Line on the Versus Network; he has worked as a Sports Center correspondent for ESPN. In 2018 he returned to Washington as the host of "Get Up DC!" on WUSA9.
