August 25lounge

DMV showcases feature excellent up-and-coming performers with ties to the DC-Baltimore area. (Every now and then we also throw in an out-of-towner for fun.) This show is in our 60-seat lounge showroom, and the comedians will perform for a total of around 90 minutes. The Improv's full food and drink menu is available.

Nick Hopping

Nick Hopping is a stand-up comedian from Richmond, Va., and recent graduate of George Mason University. He performs comedy all over Virginia and the Washington DC metro area.

Rallo Boykins

Born and raised in Hyattsville, MD, Rallo Boykins has always been the funniest and blackest person in his class. After graduating from high school, Rallo relocated to Washington D.C. to further his education at the illustrious Howard University. The summer of 2008, Rallo was dared by a good friend of his to use his comedic gift to make a modest group of 50 people laugh at a Fourth of July dinner party. He did, and the rest is history. Rallo has gone on to share the stage with prominent stars like Dave Chappelle, Tony Woods, Bill Bellamy, Nick Cannon, Anthony Anderson, DeRay Davis, Corey Holcomb, Tony Roberts, Sheryl Underwood and many more.

Paris Sashay

Washington DC native Paris Sashay is frank and fearless in her routines, tackling topics that range from the mundane to the controversial with style, wit and intelligence. Paris Sashay discovered her true talent for entertainment & food when she was just 6 years old after auditioning for a hot dog commercial. It was in 2011, when Paris first hit the stage that she immediately fell in love with the art of making people laugh.

Matt Brown

Matt Brown is a comedian from Baltimore who started his comedy career at 19. He is a regular at Magooby’s Joke House and the Baltimore Comedy Factory. He has opened for comedians Tom Segura, Tony Woods, Tommy Johnagin, Michael Winslow and more.

Donnie Sengstack

Donnie Sengstack is making a name for himself in the world of comedy. He may have a stutter, but that takes nothing away from his strong delivery and stage presence. It is simply another tool in his comedic arsenal. Donnie first started to get recognition for his comedy in 2014 when he was featured in The Washington Post and Baltimore Magazine. Since then he has gone on to win Magooby’s Joke House New Comedian of the Year. He has done shows across the US at great venues like the Washington DC Improv and the UCB Theaters in New York and LA. This year he began his first international tour with shows in Paris, Barcelona, London, and Amsterdam.
