YOUR PERFORMERS

Matty Litwack

Matty Litwack is a weird young stand up comedian and writer. He was once a physics PhD student, but dropped out when he realized it was super boring. Matty’s writing has been published in the Washington Post, New Zealand Herald, and Scientific American. He has also performed at many comedy festivals, such as the Limestone Festival, Laughing Skull Festival, Bentzen Ball, and San Francisco Sketchfest. In 2014, Matty was a finalist in the Boston Comedy Festival and was the winner of the Devil Cup in New York City. Matty has also appeared on Fox’s “Laughs” and on National Geographic Channel’s “Crowd Control”. See a clip on YouTube.

Chelsea Shorte

Originally from Richmond, Va., Chelsea Shorte discovered comedy as a way to stave off the boredom of being a beautiful twenty-something. Since first taking the stage as a stand up and improviser, she has flourished and has further applied her creative drive to storytelling, podcasting, sketch writing, acting, and drag performance. Her stand up material ranges from riffs on the low bar for allyship to dating or even pythons in the Everglades. Check her out as a co-host of the Tagg Nation podcast, taggnation.com. Listen to some of her stories and stand up at https://soundcloud.com/chikachels

Rob Maher

Rob Maher is a two time finalist in Comedy Central's Laugh Riot competition, and in 2017 he was featured on “Hart of the City.”. He is a recurring guest on Baltimore's 98 Rock and is a regular performer at the DC Improv, the Richmond and Virginia Beach Funny Bones and Magooby's Joke House. Rob is also one of Armed Forces Entertainment's featured comedians. He's had the great honor of performing shows for our troops all over Italy, Kyrgyzstan, Turkey, Japan and Egypt. Under the banner of Die Laughing Productions he produces murder mystery comedy shows.

Ayanna Dookie

Ayanna Dookie is the 2014 winner of The She Devil Comedy Festival in New York City. She also earned a spot in the semi-finals of NBC’s Stand-Up for Diversity and a finalist in the New York Underground Comedy Festival Emerging Comics Competition. She has appeared on Comcast-on-Demand, and helped Magooby’s Joke House earn the record of having The Longest Continuous Stand-Up Comedy Show in the World, contributing 2 out of the 82 hours of jokes. Ayanna continues to offer too much information about her personal life, performing throughout the country.

Tommy Taylor Jr.

Tommy Taylor Jr. is a uniquely talented comedian with a diverse artistic repertoire. Along with being a cast member in HBO’s “The Wire” for three seasons, Tommy recently reprised his role on the Emmy winning HBO series “VEEP” for his third season there as well. His original sketch comedy program “The Tommy Taylor Show” brings Tommy’s brand of “GOOD. CLEAN. COMEDY.” to television and the Internet. It has received millions of views online, been aired nationally, and won several local and national awards.
