YOUR PERFORMERS

Jason Weems

A native of Baltimore City, Jason Weems is striving to become a comedic great. He has been seen at the Just For Laughs Festival in Montreal and was a semi-finalist on NBC’s “Last Comic Standing.” In 2014 he appeared on the New Comedy Series Laughs on FOX & his NEW ONLINE SERIES THE LUNCHTIME SHOW (thelunchtimeshow.com) signed with Marlon Wayans’ new online venture WHATTHEFUNNY.COM.

Rahmein Mostafavi

Rahmein Mostafavi wins over every crowd with charm, comic timing, and charisma. He addresses heavy social and political topics with brilliant satire, and he also offers hilarious observational comedy about life as an ethnic mutt and father of three. Rahmein has been seen on FOX, heard regularly on Sirius XM, and was featured in “The Truth About Money” on PBS. See a clip on YouTube.

Chelsea Shorte

Originally from Richmond, Va., Chelsea Shorte discovered comedy as a way to stave off the boredom of being a beautiful twenty-something. Since first taking the stage as a stand up and improviser, she has flourished and has further applied her creative drive to storytelling, podcasting, sketch writing, acting, and drag performance. Her stand up material ranges from riffs on the low bar for allyship to dating or even pythons in the Everglades. Check her out as a co-host of the Tagg Nation podcast, taggnation.com. Listen to some of her stories and stand up at https://soundcloud.com/chikachels

Andy Kline

Since getting his comedy start in Washington, DC, Andy Kline has branched out to comedy clubs across the country, in addition to regular appearances on 98 Rock and SiriusXM Radio. Andy can also be heard weekly on the acclaimed comedy podcast, Three Guys On - www.threeguyson.com, and has been seen on PBS' The Truth About Money. With a mix of strong opinions, insight, and common sense, Andy manages to be more than just funny. He manages to be memorable. See a clip on YouTube.

Kasha Patel

Kasha Patel fills the unknown demand of Indian female comics from West Virginia. Based in Washington, DC, she loves telling jokes about her odd upbringing and science. She hosts and produces Science Comedy shows, where only science jokes and stories are allowed, in the DC area. Some describe her stand-up as "thoughtful" while others keep their unsolicited opinions to themselves. She has performed in clubs, comedy festivals, and Chinese restaurants in cities nationwide including Chicago, Boston, San Francisco and New York City. Follow her on Twitter @KashaPatel. Tim Miller

Tim D. Miller is a master at engaging audiences and crafting a stand-up set that is a guaranteed good time for all. Tim’s material is based on his life experience from Waco to the White House, trying to raise a daughter, and his unique ability to find the funny in everyday life. See a clip on YouTube.

Naomi Karavani

Naomi Karavani is a comedian and currently an on-camera correspondent and writer for the weekly comedy news show "Redacted Tonight" in Washington, D.C. Before joining the Redacted team she worked as a high school history teacher in Brooklyn, New York for over five years.

Danny Rolando

Danny Rolando made a great financial decision when he left a high paying bank job to pursue the rewarding, stable and low paying benefits of a career in stand up comedy. His material is extracted from his experience growing up Latino in America. He describes it as a double life; being Latino at home and American outside the home which has given him a slanted twist on life. He has entertained up and down the east coast and enjoys performing in front of all types of audiences.

Shelley Kim

Hailing from the mean streets of suburban Southern California, Shelley Kim is a DC-based stand-up comedian, satirist, producer, designer and huge dork. She fostered her love for stand-up comedy in college while remaining ignorant of any party scene. She can be seen performing and hosting all around the DMV area, sharing her insight as a savvy-yet-awkward minority female in the 21st century. Say hi on Instagram at @Shell_Gasoline. Your attention would mean a lot to her.
