Low Ticket Warning

Andrew SchulzIf there's anything we learned watching the Capitals this year, it's this: You should always buy your comedy tickets ahead of time. Look, we know that makes no sense, but it's just good advice, and some weeks we don't have the time to come up with a brilliant introduction to this post. Deal with it. Here are shows that are filling up or already full. The lounge is 60 - 68 seats, main showroom is 285:

The following events are entirely sold out:

New Podcast: Kate Quigley

We're talking relationships, comedy and more with the host of #datefails. Also, there's a story involving Katt Williams and his "stable." Good times. Kate headlines our lounge June 22-23 ...

Schedule Updates: Tammy, DeRay, Bruce and more

Lots to cover today!

New shows: DeRay Davis and Bruce Bruce. Both DeRay and Bruce were on the big show last night (June 9) at Capital One Arena. Now that the show is done, we are allowed to let you know that both guys will be here this summer. DeRay makes his return July 5-8, while Bruce Bruce is now appearing August 17-19. Tickets are on sale now.

Schedule change: Craig Robinson. He decided to take a movie role and canceled his shows that were scheduled for June 28-July 1. We were able to move the shows to September 27-30, and they'll be back on sale shortly.

New shows: Tammy Pescatelli, All American Showcase. Craig's move to September made an opening on our schedule, and we'll now have the great Tammy Pescatelli here June 29-30. We'll close out that weekend (July 1) with an All American Showcase -- a diverse lineup of local performers.

Low Ticket Warning

Gina YashereAs other venues shamelessly imitate our low ticket warnings, we thank you for sticking with the original, as we invented this concept in 1932. Here are events that are filling up (or in some cases already sold out). Plan ahead ... The lounge is 60 - 68 seats, main showroom is 285:

Are you a good person? Finally, there's a show that answers this question (and for only $17-$22 a ticket, yowza). When Christian Finnegan comes to town July 12-15, he'll be polishing up "My Goodness," a comedic look at what it means to be good. We're chatting with Christian about what inspired the concept and how he measures up.

This Week at the Club: June 4-10

Gina Yashere

We've got lots coming your way this week. Wednesday night is a special event with 106.7 the Fan. They're bringing Nationals' closer Sean Doolittle to the club to break down the season and answer fan questions. Tickets are $35 and a portion of the proceeds goes to Purple Heart.

Thursday we have the DC Improv debut of Dave Rubin, he of "intellectual dark web" fame. He'll be doing stand-up. All that's left is general admission tickets, which are $25.

Friday through Sunday is the DC Improv debut of Gina Yashere, as seen on Netflix and "The Daily Show." She's $20 Friday, $22 Saturday and $17 Sunday.

And over in the lounge showroom, we have a showcase of NYC-based stand-ups running on Friday and Saturday night. That's $17 on Friday and $20 on Saturday.
