Low Ticket Warning

Dave AttellHalloween costume idea: Go as someone who missed out on tickets to see a great comedian! But for it to be an actual costume, first you gotta get tickets to see a great comedian. Here are shows that are filling up (or already full). Our main showroom is 285 seats, and our lounge is around 60.

The following events are entirely sold out:

This Week at the Club: October 8-14

Dave Attell

Main Showroom: This gets complicated! Stay with us. The incomparable Dave Attell comes to town Thursday for a six-show run -- one show Thursday, two on both Friday and Saturday, and one on Sunday. Tickets are $35, and right now Friday and Saturday are basically sold out.

Also in town: Doug Benson, who'll do a stand-up show at 9:45 on Thursday. Tickets for that are $22. Doug sticks around to tape an episode of "Doug Loves Movies" on Sunday afternoon, but that's already sold out.

Finally, on Saturday afternoon we host Challenge Mania Live, a podcast for fans of the MTV competition show "The Challenge." That's an all-ages show, so people under 18 are welcome to attend. General admission tickets are $30.

Lounge Showroom: The graduation showcase for our first "Level 2" stand-up class is Thursday, but it's already sold out. The weekend belongs to Daniel Weingarten, who headlines two shows Friday ($18) and two shows Saturday ($20) as his DC Improv debut.

New Podcast: Emmy Blotnick

Emmy Blotnick is having a great year: Two late-night talk show spots, a half-hour special on Comedy Central, and a new job as a staff writer for Stephen Colbert's "Late Show." We say hello before she headlines the lounge October 5-6. (Or as we like to think of it, the cherry on the sundae.) Plus, a little Pun DMV preview to get you excited for October 18.

Nate BargatzeOur headliner this week is the son of a magician. To honor his heritage, he is making tickets disappear. Plan ahead. Here are shows that are filling up (or already full). Our main showroom is 285 seats, and our lounge is around 60.

Nate Bargatze

Main Showroom: There's a stand-up class graduation on Wednesday night, and tickets are $10. The rest of the week belongs to Nate Bargatze, who'll be making his DC Improv debut. Five of the six shows are already sold out, with only the Sunday show available (at $27 a ticket). If any shows are added we'll post in on the front of dcimprov.com.

Lounge Showroom: We're already sold out for Thursday, when the American Born Desi Comics come to town. You can still get tickets for Friday and Saturday, when the headliner is Emmy Blotnick. When she's not working as a stand-up, she's a writer for Stephen Colbert's talk show. It's $17 on Friday and $20 on Saturday.

Seaton SmithLast week was a "perfect week" -- all shows in both showrooms sold out. This week is probably going to be perfect as well. We tell you this because a) we're bragging; and b) you really gotta listen when we tell you shows are getting full. Here are shows that are filling up (or already full). Our main showroom is 285 seats, and our lounge is around 60.

Exactly one month later, one of our favorite regulars is back. Bob Marley comes down from Maine to headline six shows March 7-10. Tickets are $17-$22.
