New Shows: Deon Cole

This is a cool one ... Deon Cole is very well known for his roles on "black-ish" and its new spinoff "grown-ish," plus he starred in three seasons of "Angie Tribeca." He's got a great balance of smart and goofy in his stand-up, and we had a blast when he was here in October 2016. He's back in November 2018 for six shows, and we're pretty confident these will sell out. Plan ahead. (Nov. 15-18)

New Shows: wellRED Comedy and Couples Therapy

We've got one for the main showroom, and one for the lounge.

We're very excited to announce that the wellRED Comedy guys (Trae Crowder, Drew Morgan and Corey Ryan Forrester) are coming back to DC in a few months. They sold out six shows over Halloween weekend in 2017, they sold out some shows at the Kennedy Center last month, and they are now back on our calendar for Nov. 29 to Dec. 2.

For our lounge, we have a fun concept show making its DC Improv debut on September 20. Rahmein Mostafavi will bring "Couples Therapy: A Comedy Show" our way. Rahmein leads a chat between willing audience members and his panel of comedians and guests. And the subject is relationships and dating. So there's endless source material. Tickets are just $10 if you want to check it out.

On the dais ...

If you've never seen a Time Machine Roast, you should. Seven comics are going to get in costume and in character, posing as famous people from all eras. Then they'll relentlessly insult each other. It's as good as it sounds. The next show is September 5 and we just got our hands on the lineup ...
