Ms. PatLeaves are starting to turn. You should also think of comedy tickets like leaves: Once they're gone, all you have left is MONTHS OF COLD BLEAK DESPAIR! I mean, you'll live. But make sure you get tickets in advance, is the point. Here are shows that are filling up (or already full). Our main showroom is 285 seats, and our lounge is around 60.

The following events are entirely sold out:

Main Showroom: We start the week on Tuesday with a fundraiser for the Luv u Project, a mental health charity. For $75 you get an all-inclusive ticket (admission, buffet dinner, open bar) to an excellent local showcase.

Wednesday night is our free-admission open mic.

Thursday we have goofy good times with our last Pun DMV competition of 2018. Tickets are just $6, and you can even compete in the tournament event if you've got the guts.

Friday and Saturday, Ms. Pat is back in town for four shows. Tickets are $17 on Friday and $20 on Saturday.

Shuler King headlines shows Sunday, but they're already sold out.

Lounge Showroom: Friday night you can see a DMV showcase, featuring five up-and-coming performers for $17. Shows are at 7:30 and 9:45.

Dave AttellHalloween costume idea: Go as someone who missed out on tickets to see a great comedian! But for it to be an actual costume, first you gotta get tickets to see a great comedian. Here are shows that are filling up (or already full). Our main showroom is 285 seats, and our lounge is around 60.

Main Showroom: This gets complicated! Stay with us. The incomparable Dave Attell comes to town Thursday for a six-show run -- one show Thursday, two on both Friday and Saturday, and one on Sunday. Tickets are $35, and right now Friday and Saturday are basically sold out.

Also in town: Doug Benson, who'll do a stand-up show at 9:45 on Thursday. Tickets for that are $22. Doug sticks around to tape an episode of "Doug Loves Movies" on Sunday afternoon, but that's already sold out.

Finally, on Saturday afternoon we host Challenge Mania Live, a podcast for fans of the MTV competition show "The Challenge." That's an all-ages show, so people under 18 are welcome to attend. General admission tickets are $30.

Lounge Showroom: The graduation showcase for our first "Level 2" stand-up class is Thursday, but it's already sold out. The weekend belongs to Daniel Weingarten, who headlines two shows Friday ($18) and two shows Saturday ($20) as his DC Improv debut.

New Podcast: Emmy Blotnick

Emmy Blotnick is having a great year: Two late-night talk show spots, a half-hour special on Comedy Central, and a new job as a staff writer for Stephen Colbert's "Late Show." We say hello before she headlines the lounge October 5-6. (Or as we like to think of it, the cherry on the sundae.) Plus, a little Pun DMV preview to get you excited for October 18.
