The DC Improv is proud to host the 6th Annual Districts Funniest College Competition and we are looking for student performers. The DC Improv is searching for the funniest college student in Washington DC and surrounding area. We are producing free comedy showcases at various universities featuring college students/comedians performing 5 minutes of original stand-up material in front of an audience of their peers and a panel of expert judges. One-Two students will be selected as winners from each individual school show and will be invited to perform in the finals to be held at The DC Improv in Spring 2009. At the finals, one student will be crowned the winner and is rewarded with a paid hosting gig at The DC Improv, an on air interview with Tommy McFly from MIX 107.3FM and a write up in On Tap Magazine. The prize for the University is a reputation for housing some of the funniest students in the area.
