Calling All Student Comedians!!

The DC Improv is proud to host the 5th ANNUAL DISTRICTS FUNNIEST COLLEGE COMPETITION and we are looking for student performers. Variety School Showcase at The DC Improv - February 26th, 2008
Johns Hopkins University - March 6th, 2008
George Mason University - March 7th, 2008

Finals at THE DC IMPROV - April 16th, 2008
The DC Improv is searching for the funniest college student in the Washington D.C. and surrounding areas and will host showcases at several universities around town. Each performance will consist of 8-10 college students/comedians performing 5 minutes of original stand-up material in front of an audience of their peers and a panel of expert judges. One-Two students will be selected as winners from each individual school and will be invited to perform for the finals to be held at The DC Improv in APRIL 2008. At the finals, one student will be crowned the winner and is rewarded with a paid hosting gig at The DC Improv, and more. The prize for the University is a reputation for housing some of the funniest students in the area. It s a win win situation, unless of course you lose the competition.
