The DC Improv Comedy Club is hosting a special local comedy showcase in our Comedy Lounge. DC is notorious for launching the careers of such comedy greats as, Dave Chappelle, Lewis Black, Tommy Davidson and Wanda Sykes.

Larry XL: If there's a club, hall, bar or basement that need jokes, Larry XL is ready to rock the house. Larry XL's sharp wacky style has made him a favorite with audiences from Florida to Canada. He's been a finalist in comedy competitions in his native Baltimore and neighboring cities like Washington, DC and Philadelphia. Soon after he started performing at area clubs and later hit the road performing in some of the nation's best comedy clubs (and anywhere else with electricity) opening for the likes of Bobby Slayton, Jim Florentine and Charlie Murphy. He has also been heard on XM Satellite Radio and Baltimore's 98 Rock.
Mike Way: Mike Way was inspired to do standup by the observational comedy of Jerry Seinfeld and Chris Rock. He is known for his relaxed conversational delivery and well-crafted material with which everyone can relate. In addition to winning the 2007 DC Improv Showcase Finals, he's also performed at the DC, Boston, and California Comedy Festivals, at the Hollywood Improv and Gotham Comedy Club and has opened for nationally renowned headliners, including Frank Caliendo, Judah Friedlander, Pablo Francisco and John Oliver.
Jeff Maurer: Jeff Maurer is one of DC's most promising young comics. He has been featured on Sirius Satellite Radio and Comcast on Demand, and also won the 2009Funniest Fed Contest, the 2008 Drafthouse Comedy Challenge, and the May 2005 DC Improv Comedy Showcase. A DC resident, he was recently featured at the Bentzen Ball Comedy Festival and has been seen at clubs and colleges up and down the East Coast.
Erik Myers: Erik is a loveable misfit who is always getting into and out of hilarious situations, he has a unique style and delivery and his jokes are fast paced and crowd pleasing. He has opened for Mitch hedberg, Pablo Francisco and Jim breur, all people he grew up idolizing by the way. He has performed in over thirty states in america at some of the biggest clubs nationwide. He has been heard on 98 rock and is a former winner of the Funniest Person in Baltimore contest.
The DC Improv Comedy Lounge will be serving a full dinner menu and drinks. Doors open at 6:30 pm. Show is at 8 pm.
